I am obsessed with Evelyn & Bobbie! Especially the Evelyn & Bobbie Beyond Bra. I own it in many sizes and colors including the one I am reviewing here which is Himalayan Salt. After my double mastectomy, these were a lifesaver. So comfortable, and soft and offer just the right amount of support.

Evelyn & Bobbie The Beyond Bra Overview
Evelyn & Bobbie designs many different styles of bras. Some have back closures, some have adjustable straps, and some are more of a sports bra style. All of them are seamless, contouring, wireless and perfect for bigger busts.

The size Large Beyond Bra in Himalayan Salt Measurements are as follows (all measurements are taken with the bra laying flat and are approximate):
Total length of the band (the entire band with the bra laying flat): 31″
Widest part (height) of the band at the back: 5.25″
Narrowest part of the band at the back (hook and eye closure height): 2″
Distance between the hook and eye closures: 1/2″
Armpit to bottom: 5.5″
Smallest to Longest Adjustable Strap Length: 4″ to 7.5″
Cup measurement (estimated from the top of the cup to the bottom curve): 8″
V-neck to bottom: 6″
Widest strap thickness: 1.5″
Narrowest strap thickness (the elastic part of the strap): 3/4″
Largest setting closed on hook & eye (band measured laying flat, unstretched): 15.5″
Unstretched band measurement with 2nd largest setting closed on hook & eye: 15.25″
3rd largest setting closed on hook & eye (unstretched, with the band laying flat): 15″
The smallest setting closed on hook & eye (unstretched band measurement while bra laying flat): 14.75″
In conclusion, the band can be adjusted from 14.75 – 15.5″ (laying flat and unstretched). Please note this bra does have quite a bit of stretch and will mold to your shape (within 2-3 wears when brand new).
The Beyond Bra Comfort and Fit after Double Mastectomy & Reconstruction Surgery
This brand does an impressive job of being size-inclusive. Their bras will fit the smallest to the biggest busts and their models beautifully represent that fact.
Right after my double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, I opted for the size Large because I was recovering from a major surgery. At the time I wore the Beyond Bra in a size large, I was freshly post-surgery and was very swollen. I would say I was about a size 36DD. The bra was PERFECT. When I received it, it was a little tight (which is normal). I wore the bra 3 days / 2 nights in a row (after surgery the only time I could take the bra off was to shower).
The buttery soft fabric molded to my shape, the cups molded first then the band. I set the band to the middle hook/eye closure so I would have room to make it tighter or looser if needed.

Let’s get the basics out of the way. The actual fabric content is 62% Nylon, and 38% Spandex.
On the inside of Evelyn & Bobbie bras, you’ll see “EB Core®” printed in the underbust area, this is their fully patented 3D “sling”. It’s a carefully engineered “shelf” that lifts and separates from below.

Care and Washing Instructions
Machine wash cold, only non-chlorine bleach, and dry flat do not iron.
Hand washing will always increase the longevity of your bra. But, if you want to wash it in the washing machine, always use a garment bag. I love these garment bags, they are affordable and readily available on Amazon.
Always line-dry your bras. I use a huge, clothes drying rack like this one (because I line-dry almost everything) but you can use something smaller to fit your space better.
I also LOVE Dropps eco-friendly detergent, oxy boost, and fabric softener. Seriously, THE BEST organic/eco-friendly detergent out there.
Evelyn & Bobbie The Beyond Bra Colors
The “Himalayan Salt” color is proprietary and unique to Evelyn & Bobbie. I would say it’s not the typical beige flesh tone or “nude” shade that’s long been outdated because it truly doesn’t match anyone’s skin tone. This shade is a “skin tone” but it’s not a washed-out beige – it is a peachy shade with hues of pink, like Himalayan salt. I am caucasian with dark hair and an olive skin tone and I find this shade to work better for me than the pale, drab “sand” shade.
At first, I was concerned that it was somehow too dark and it would be visible through my white and light-colored thin tees and tops but I find it LESS visible because it looks more neutral than the lighter, “neutral” shade. The neckline outline is definitely less obvious with this color versus my beige-hued or white bras. I also think this shade could work for people with slightly darker complexions as well and it would match better and be less visible under more sheer tops and dresses.
The Evelyn & Bobbie Beyond Bra in Himalayan Salt is one of MANY color options for the Beyond Bra. The Evelyn & Bobbie “Core Collection” colors include black, umber, Himalayan salt, sand, and other colors you might expect. I’m not 100% sure but I did not see a “white” option in the lineup. Otherwise, all the usual suspects for basic bra colors are present.

Overall, definitely give the Evelyn & Bobbie Beyond Bra in Himalayan Salt a try – you have nothing to lose with their great return policy. They have really amazing customer service too!
