Advent calendars are always a fun tradition at our house. Hope you come along with us as we anxiously anticipate Christmas from December 1st. Best Advent Calendars for Gritty Kids
Those resilient, inquisitive kids are pretty darn great, but they can be hard to shop for! Here is a list of Advent Calendars that will keep your gritty kid engaged as they count down to Christmas! I’ve never heard the term “Gritty Kid” until I came across the “Logic Workbook for Gritty Kids” series of puzzle and riddle books. My son absolutely fell in love with these. He finished two of them while on a 13-hour flight to Europe when he was 7 years old. I highly recommend this series! Lego City is the Best Advent Calendar for Kids
We’ve been getting the Lego City advent calendar for our six-year-old son for the past 3 years and this year, again, it was a huge hit! The only bad thing about it is that it sells out fast! It is the most popular of all the Lego Advent Calendars. So plan on snagging it in early to mid-November so you are ready on December 1st. Every year the individual Lego pieces are different but the idea is the same. There are some little builds, and some interesting pieces like a turkey, video game controller, pony, and carrot.
